Wine Bar Thirroul

Your Thirroul Wine Bar with Character

If you’re searching for a wine bar in Thirroul that feels a little bit special, you’ve found it. Duck in Heaven isn’t just about incredible food, it’s about those easy, unhurried moments that happen over a good glass of wine. Whether you’re meeting friends, heading to Anita’s Theatre, or just want a drink after a long day, our bar has you covered.

Our wine list is small but thoughtful, every bottle has a story. You’ll find local Australian wines from the Hunter Valley and Margaret River, a few cheeky international drops, and some rare finds you won’t see on every menu.

If you like something crisp, smooth, or bold, our team will help you find your new favourite. And if wine’s not your thing? We’ve got craft beers, refreshing spritzes, and cocktails that hit the spot every time.

Cocktails You’ll Actually Remember

Perfect for Date Night, Pre-Theatre Drinks or Sunday Chill

We don’t do overcomplicated drinks, we do classics with personality. Think a chilled Lychee Martini, a spicy Chilli Mule, or our Mandarin Old Fashioned (which regulars rave about).

Everything’s made fresh, balanced, and designed to go perfectly with our food. The vibe’s relaxed, the service is warm, and it’s the kind of place you end up staying longer than you planned.

We’re just a few doors down from Anita’s Theatre, so we’ve become the go-to spot for pre-show drinks and dinners. Come early for our 5:30pm sittings, or stop by later for dessert and a nightcap.

If you’re after something more low-key, grab a seat at the bar, order some dumplings, and let the evening unfold.
